Will the apron work if greasy? Yes, the apron is constructed with three layers, with an oil, grease and water resistant internal layer allowing the rear layer to be used for extinguishing fires (known as “turn to the burn”).
Will the fire retardant treatment wash out? This depends on the type of fabric used. Fire inherent fabric will never wash out where as treated will after 50 washes.
Can the apron be customized in our brand colours with embroidery? Yes, for orders over 100,000 pieces, the apron can be bespoke manufactured in your chosen colours. The reflective strip and Flamethrow embroidered symbol will be retained to identify the garment.
How significant are kitchen fires? Kitchen fires account for 20 deaths or injuries in the UK. Our mission is to eliminate injuries and fatalities related to kitchen fires by 2030.
How will people be trained to use this apron? We are developing an online course on apron usage, complete with a certificate of completion. Additionally, printed instructions will accompany each apron.
